Though rare, your camera may stop transmitting video to the screen on the Brava while it is cooking. Don't worry, the fix is very easy.
A power cycle of the Brava almost always resolves this issue (you may have to do this a few times).
- Unplug the Brava power cord
- Wait 30 seconds
- Plug it back in
- When the Brava is fully back on, run any recipe to test the camera.
Sometimes the Camera Image is Dim
Another thing to keep in mind is that during some cooks, it may appear as if the camera is not working, but it's possible that the inside of the cooking chamber is very dim. Some of the cook programs are designed to only power the lamps up partially to cook the food perfectly. In those cases, the light emitted may not be enough to light up the entire chamber. The Metal Tray may also block light going to the camera when only the bottom middle lamp is on.
