How to Insert the TempSensor

Step One: When cooking most meats and fish, start with TempSensor connected to your Brava. You can connect the TempSensor on the inner left side of the Brava. Note: Remember to remove the protective black rubber |

Step Two: Height matters. Use the hatch marks on the TempSensor to accurately measure the height of proteins and vegetables. You can then enter the height of your protein on the Brava screen according to your recipe. |

Step Three: Insert your TempSensor horizontally into your protein. Insert into the exact middle of the food, all the way until the metal handle of the sensor tip. |

Step Four: Take a last look at your tray. Ensure your cord is tucked away from the lamps and rests under the TempSensor Guard. This is the metal guardrail that rests above where you connect the TempSensor. |

Do make sure the TempSensor is inserted all the way into your protein with none of the needle exposed. Do not leave some of the needle hanging out of your protein. |

Do insert your TempSensor into the thickest part of your protein, on the left side of the tray, and in the center horizontally. Do not insert your TempSensor at an angle, exposed, and not in the center of the protein. |

Do tuck your TempSensor cord under the protective guardrail to the left and away from the lamps above. Do not leave your TempSensor exposed to the lamps above. |
