Brava Accessibility

Here's an overview of Brava’s V3 software. Brava continues to fulfill its mission of accessibility, enhancing independence for users by providing full control via mobile devices, including support for screen readers like VoiceOver and TalkBack. This update brings transformative improvements to accessibility, especially for blind and low-vision individuals. The update allows for:

  • Full oven control via mobile devices—adjust settings, select ingredients, and manage recipes, all from your phone.

  • Integrated support with screen readers such as Voiceover and Talkback, empowering blind and low-vision users to cook independently.

  • Increased customization and transparency in recipes, with the ability to modify and create your own chef-tested recipes.

We’ve partnered with the Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired San Francisco to ensure this update truly meets the needs of the blind community. This collaboration has optimized the Brava app for screen readers, further enhancing inclusivity.

Brava’s mission is to make cooking easier and more accessible for all. With V3, we’re continuing that commitment by removing barriers and empowering users with more control in their kitchens.
