Before your first cook, we recommend familiarizing yourself with the physical layout of the Brava:
Inside the Oven Chamber:
- Lamps
- There are three lamps on top and three lamps on the bottom. These are delicate, so avoid touching them directly.
- Two Shelf Positions
- Brava trays can be placed on either the top or bottom shelf. Recipes will guide you on which shelf to use. You can use bump dots on the exterior of the brava to make it easier to find the shelf positions.
- Temperature Probe Port:
- On the left side near the top of the oven chamber is the port for inserting the temperature probe. This is useful for precise cooking, especially for proteins
On Top of the Oven:
- Glass Panel and Button:
- The oven’s top has a glass panel with a touch screen in the center.
- On the right side of the glass panel is a large round physical button. This button needs to be pressed to begin cooking after sending a recipe from the app or to resume cooking if the oven is paused.
- Silicone Mat:
- A heat-resistant silicone mat covers the rest of the oven’s top, providing a convenient place to rest hot trays after cooking.
