The Brava uses a standard North American 3-prong plug. The wiring within the household needs to be consistent with National Electrical Code for kitchens that use 15-20 AMP circuit breakers. The Brava needs to be connected to an outlet that is supported by a 20 Amp breaker.
While the Brava is in use, no other appliances should be running at the same time. The use of another appliance, while the Brava is running, will overload your circuit and cause the breaker to trip.
The Brava is currently tested and designed for use in the United States and Canada. It is only intended to be connected to a 110V-120V 60Hz circuit. The Brava pulls approximately 1800 Watts.
Important Requirements:
- Connect to a properly grounded three-prong ground-fault current interruption (GFCI) outlet
- Do not connect to a two-pronged outlet using an adaptor
- Do not connect with power converters
